Liam Payne: New details emerge about where One Direction star was when he ‘fa:in:ted’

A source has claimed that Liam Payne was in the ‘wrong place at the wrong time’ as a new detail has emerged about the tragic moment he fainted in his hotel room

Liam Payne sadly died accidentally after fainting on his hotel room balcony, according to a source.

The 31-year-old former One Direction member was reportedly in the wrong place at the wrong time when he fainted and fell from the balcony of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, earlier this month.

Broadcast journalist Paula Varela revealed chilling details, saying: “There is footage that is not being released to the media with the balcony scene where you see that Liam faints and tragically because of where he is, falls from that balcony. If he had been beside his bed he would have fallen on his bed.”

The footage she refers to is part of a collection of CCTV clips that are believed to be critical to the case. Varela, 45, announced on the TV show Socios del Espectaculo aired by Canal 13, her belief that the footage confirms Liam did not willingly jump from the balcony, though the investigation into this sad event is ongoing.

Furthermore, she mentioned: “It’s not that he jumped deliberately. This footage is in the official case files. There’s a lad who’s being investigated, he was working nights at the hotel.

“He struck up an excellent relationship with Liam. He disobeyed an order from the hotel management. What was the order he disobeyed? It was not to take anything into Liam’s room.”

Liam, who was on vacation in Argentina and had even attended pal Niall Horan’s concert with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, sadly died earlier this month. Prosecutors relayed in their statement that they suspect Liam to have been “in a state of semi or total unconsciousness” during what appeared to be a substance-triggered “psychotic episode” prior to his fatal fall.

Alberto Crescenti, head of the state emergency medical system, confirmed the heartbreaking news, revealing to Argentina’s Todo Noticias TV channel: “A few minutes later [an] emergency team arrived and confirmed the death of this man who we later learned was from a musical group. He had injuries incompatible with life as a result of his fall. There was no way to do anything.”

Details emerged from the toxicology report suggesting Liam’s body was discovered in such a position, coupled with the severe injuries from his plummet, that “it is presumed that Payne did not adopt a reflexive posture to protect himself and may have fallen in a state of semi or total unconsciousness.”
